General information about fishing gear. I was looking around the basement a few years ago and I found my dad’s old tackle box. When I looked through it I found it had some lures that were given to him by his father and grandfather. I remember when I was a kid when we would go through it together, he would pull out a lure and sort of pause like he was thinking about some other time and place. He could usually relate some story about how he was fishing with thus and so and he caught this fish at this time. It is truly amazing how our memories can be so strong when it comes to fishing.
It was my dad who taught me the joy of fishing and to him I dedicate this portion of the website. May we never forget the ones we caught and the “big ones that got away”.
