Kentucky Lake and Lake Barclay, Kentucky are a couple of my most favorite lakes in the country. They make up one of the largest man-made lake areas in the eastern United States. The fishing is always fun, the people of the area are fantastic and the pace of life is very relaxing. Our group has been going to the area for several years and there are memories from each trip that are precious and will last a lifetime.
The natural beauty of the area is amazing and when you can add to that one of the best bass fishing areas in the Midwest it is a wonderful spot. Not only for fishermen, but families can have a great time. Back when our kids were younger we would go there, rent a houseboat and get “lost” on the lake for a week. It was one phenomenal experience and the kids who are grown-up now still remember that trip fondly. Not too many family events when parents and kids are in a 54′ long floating living space and everybody agrees they had a wonderful time. Fisherman or family alike you will not be disappointed in spending time in this beautiful spot in western Kentucky!
